Hunts at the 2009 S.C.I. Banquet Auction

Pecan Duck Club – Mendon, MO
A guided duck hunt for two hunters at the Pecan Duck Club in Mendon, MO. This is a one and a half day hunt available all Monday through Thursday.
Example: Arrive Sunday night, hunt all day Monday, spend the night, hunt Tuesday till noon. Food and lodging are included. Harold Kitchew is also including one of his custom, hand-made duck calls.
This hunt must be taken during the 2009 season.


Cast and Blast Hunt – Baldwin, MI
A guided cast and blast hunt on the Pere Marquette River out of Baldwin, MI. Shoot ducks and geese in the morning, have lunch on the boat and fish for steelhead in the afternoon. Must be taken during the 2009 season.


Alaskan Fishing Trip at McDougall Lodge, L.C.
They will provide 5 nights, 6 days, fully-guided Alaskan fishing trip to either the historical McDougall Lodge (located on Lake Creek) or Talstar Lodge (located on the world-famous Talachulitna River). Package includes: Fully-guided fishing (tackle, rods, reels included), Lodging, Meals, Fillet, freeze and vacuum package your fish, Morning arrival on your first day, morning departure on your sixth day.

Package does NOT include: Airfare from the lower 48 states, Floatplane flight (approx. $200 per person, roundtrip depending on the lodge location), Gratuities, Alcoholic beverages.


Dale Dunn’s Farm – Guided Turkey Hunt
A one-day guided turkey hunt in the spring season of 2009. The hunt will be on Dale Dunn’s farm in Missouri and guided by Dale Dunn.

Hunt: The unique species of the Eastern Cape

5-Day SCI Silver Medal RED STAG Hunt
With well-known outfitter and longtime SCI supporter, Lindsay Fraser.
This hunt represents a special opportunity for a hunter to stalk New Zealand’s magnificent Silver Medal Red Stag (up to 325 SCI) with Fraser Safaris New Zealand and well-known outfitter – Lindsay Fraser. Lindsay has been guiding SCI Chapter members for the past 20 years and has guided three SCI World Record Red Stags, including the current world record archery Stag of 546 3/8 SCI. He has been nominated for SCI International Professional Hunter of the Year on several occasions. Lindsay Fraser is a founding member of the New Zealand Chapter of SCI, member of the New Zealand Professional Guides Association and life member of the International Professional Hunters Association.

This five days, six night hunt is conducted on beautiful Mt. Cecil (private Fraser family ranch and estate of 15,000 acres). It is a great and safe hunt for family and friends. Non-hunter activities are available with prior agreement. This hunt can be upgraded to Gold Stag and include more hunting days and other species (on a trophy fee basis) such as world-class Tahr, Chamois, Fallow, Wapiti, small game and bird shooting.

This hunting adventure can be scheduled between mid-February through August of 2009 or 2010. Weapons can be rifle, archery or muzzleloader (no handguns allowed for hunting in New Zealand).

Included is 1x1 (one hunter, one guide) guiding service, log hunting lodge accommodations (suitable for families), meals, soft drinks and one trophy fee for an SCI Silver Medal Red Stag (up to 325 SCI). Lindsay Fraser will personally assist you in the simple New Zealand Tourist Firearm import permit documentation (fee $25).

Hunt can be upgraded to include additional hunters and non-hunters, up to a total group size of 12.

Also included in this hunt donation is pickup & return from Christchurch Airport, South Island, New Zealand. Field preparation and freezing of your trophies is included, as well as delivery to our taxidermist at the end of your hunt.

Not included is triphy skinning expedite, crating & expert documentation, which is paid directly to our master taxidermist. Trophy crate shipping is freight toward your nearest Fish & Wildlife designated port in the USA. Not included area any tourist activities taken before, during or after the hunt date.


African Maximum Safari
Providing a donation for 2 hunters and 2 observers. The hunt is for six days. The hunting will be on a consessions of African Maximum Safaris in the northwest province of South Africa. The trophy animals donated are one of each species: Impala, Bles Buck, Wart Hog and Black Wildebeest. These are to be split between the two hunters. The hunt is available for the 2009-2010 season. Included in the donation is field preparation of trophies and dipping – shipping is not included. Arrival and departure point will be Johannesburg International Airport. Not included are the arrival and departure. Day rates are $180 per day, per person, excluding the 14% government tax. On departure day, we take clients sightseeing to Pilansberg Park or Sun City Resorts or shopping at craft markets.
